About Us
BACKGROUND
The inspiration behind the establishment of New Day Global stems from my personal experience growing up in a vulnerable household. After losing my father in 2004, my mother selflessly raised me as a widow, overcoming immense challenges to provide for my education and well-being.
Despite her meager income, my mother’s determination and resilience were exemplary. However, I witnessed firsthand the struggles she faced in providing quality education for me amidst harsh economic conditions. Fortunately, government grants and fee payments helped alleviate some of the financial burdens.
During this time, we also benefited from external support, including food assistance programmes such as USAID’s bulgur provision. These interventions made a significant difference in our lives, and I am forever grateful.
This personal connection to the cause drives our mission and vision, as we strive to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those we serve.
As a tribute to my mother, who selflessly raised me as a widow, New Day Global is also committed to supporting widows in Chimanimani District and beyond. We recognize the immense challenges these women face in caring for their families amidst economic hardships. Our organization aims to provide assistance and empowerment programmes tailored to the unique needs of widows, helping to alleviate their burdens and promote resilience in the face of adversity.
